Panel 1: Rover, Vivian, and Cobalt are all hanging out in a room. Rover asks Vivian, "So, what's your New Year's Resolution?" Vivian replies with "To finally beat Cobalt at chess" as she frustratingly looks down at Cobalt, who is purring and giving Vivian a smug grin.

Panel 2: Mark leans into the room, calling out to Vivian, saying "Vivian! Can you help me with something?". Vivian looks over at him, saying "Huh? Oh, uh, sure, Plasma Man."

Panel 3: It cuts to a new area. Vivian is nervously standing holding a baseball bat; Mark is leaning back, ready to throw a plasma ball he created. Vivian shudders, saying, "M-Mark, I already told you! This isn't possible with a regular wooden bat!" Mark dismisses this with a grin on his face, responding with "Just hit the plasma ball!"

Panel 4: With a loud "POW!", Vivian forcefully manages to hit the plasma ball with the baseball bat, sending it flying into the air.

Panel 5: It cuts to outer space, where the plasma ball was hit with such force that it escaped Earth's atmosphere.

Panel 6: Mark and Dr. Fix are now looking up, bright-eyed. "Ah, so our plasma attacks CAN be deflected!" Mark exclaims. Dr. Fix adds, "At the right angle, at least. Thanks for help on my resolution!" Meanwhile, Vivian is just off screen, shouting "What was even the point of that!?"
